Have you ever heard wisteria seed pods pop open? There’s a loud bang and clattering noises as the pod pops open and the seeds spray out. The pods then curve into tight spirals. That’s what inspires these mobiles.

Each mobile features cloth spirals and glass seeds. I create the spirals by layering and fusing colored fabrics. When light shines through the spirals, the cloth layers create a third color. Each mobile measures approximately 19” across and 13” high.

In the packaging, I include monofilament wire and a large, round brass hook that make for easy hanging. I make every part of these mobiles by hand, so each one is unique, with slight variations in color and shape.

Seed Pod Mobiles are best hung inside. They are works of art that move in the breeze and catch the sun. Both adults and children love watching these mobiles!

The mobiles available are featured in the photos. Each available color combination is labeled with a number. Please include that number in your note when you place your order.

2) Spirals: peach/white and light pink/white, turning brighter in the light. Beads: clear, pearlescent grey, metallic grey.

3) Light brown/cream turning golden in the light. Beads: cream, pearlescent grey, lavender.

4) Spiral: peach/fuchsia turning vivid pink/red in the light. Beads: orange, lavender, light pink.

5) Spirals: light pink/white turning cotton candy pink in the light. Beads: light pink, pearlescent grey, metallic grey.

6) Spiral: fuchsia/light pink turning magenta in the light. Beads: pink, lavender, grey, clear, metallic grey.
