LinColn Sudbury Mobile Installation 2017

In 2017, I was an Artist-in-Residence at Lincoln Sudbury High School. The year started with a series of workshops in which students in all grades were able to learn about the history of mobiles, practice making them, and submit ideas for a mobile installation that would be hung in their math department. I then worked with the themes/ideas submitted by students and built a series of five mobiles (ranging from 5' to 12' in diameter). The mobiles are inspired by nature, formulated according to the Fibonacci Series, utilize the school colors (blue, white, red), and create a welcoming ambience.
