The Floating Fan Mobiles are inspired by lily pads floating on water. Their movement is languid, smooth and calming. They carry with them the peaceful calm of leaves moving on water.

I create the Floating Fans by painting on fine paper, folding and adhering the designs to stainless steel, and then finding the balance of each branch against the others. At the base of each mobile are tin bells that ring occasionally.

This Three Floating Fans Mobile measures about 16" high by 14” across (not including the top thread). In the packaging, I include monofilament wire and a large, round brass hook that make for easy hanging. I make every part of these mobiles by hand, so each one is unique, with slight variations in color and shape.

Floating Fans are best hung inside. They are works of art that move in the breeze and catch the sun. Both adults and children love watching these mobiles!

The mobiles available are featured in the photos. Each available color combination is labeled with a number. Please include that number in your note when you place your order.

Mobile #3: Bright red and dark red paper painted with black and gold designs.

Mobile #4: Dark green, mint green, and magenta paper painted with black, gold, and green designs.
